Who can go coasteering?

Our coasteering sessions are available from age 8 upwards. You need a basic level of fitness and swimming confidence; private sessions may be possible for weaker or non-swimmers, so please speak to us before booking.

Do I have to do the big jumps?

No. Every jump is optional. Your guide will offer different challenges and help you choose what feels right for you.

What equipment is supplied?

We provide a full 5mm winter wetsuit, a buoyancy aid and a helmet for coasteering. Equipment for the other guided activities is also provided as described during booking.

What should I bring?

For water activities, bring swimwear, a towel and secure trainers you are happy to get wet. Please do not wear flip-flops or Crocs. Your booking confirmation will include the exact meeting details.

When is the best time to go?

Sessions can run throughout the year when conditions allow, although March to October is generally the most popular period.

Where do sessions take place?

Our primary coasteering location is Baggy Point at Croyde Bay. We also use other suitable North Devon locations depending on the activity and conditions. Your confirmation will state where to meet.

What happens if conditions are unsuitable?

The guide checks the weather, sea state and tides. If the planned route is not appropriate, we may use a safer alternative or contact you about the available options.

Can you take private or larger groups?

Yes. We welcome families, groups of friends, schools and youth groups, corporate teams, military groups, birthday groups, stags and hens. Sessions can be tailored to your group.
